Sruthi Hasan's sister goes to Hollywood
Kamal Haasan's younger daughter and Shruti Haasan's sister Akshara Haasan is making film debut with a Bollywood film Shamitabh. Akshara is making her acting debut which stars Dhanush and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles.

Last year, there were rumours that Akshara might act in Mani Ratnam's Kadal; however, the role eventually went to Thulasi Nair. Akshara's name was heard even in Tollywood for quite some time now. Though Akshara assisted a couple of directors in last few years, Shruti apparently wanted her little sister in front of camera.
Balki had earlier made critically acclaimed films like Paa and Cheeni Kum.'Shamitabh' will be releasing early next year. Shruti Haasan made her acting debut with a Hindi film 'Lucky' was a flop.
