Colors Swati in Geetanjali 2
Buoyed by the success of Swamy Ra Ra and Karthikeya, actress Swati seems to be concentrating more on Tollywood. Although she has a couple of Tamil films in the pipeline, the actress has increased her pace in Telugu.
Our reliable sources informed us that Swati would be stepping into the shoes of Anjali for the sequel to horror comedy Geetanjali. Directed by Raj Kiran, the film, titled Geetanjali 2, is expected to have Swati as the leading lady.
Recently, Raj Kiran approached Swati and gave an impressive narration and got her instant approval, says a source. However, an official statement is awaited.
The shooting of the film could begin in January once the director wraps up the pre-production formalities. Raj Kiran announced that the sequel would also feature a popular actor in the lead role.
