Actor Ahuti Prasad passed away
Veteran character actor Ahuti Prasad passed away today at KIMS in Hyderabad while undergoing treatment. The 58 year old actor was battling cancer from a long time and has breathed his last today.
He is survived by wife and two sons Karthik and Bharani. Born in Koduru of Krishna district, the actor made his debut with 'Vikram' in 1986, which is also a debut film of actor Akkineni Nagarjuna. His last film was yet to be released 'Rudrama Devi'.
He was a two time Nandi Award Winner, one for Krishna Vamsi's 'Chandamama'. and another for his role in 'Nenu Ninnu Premisthunna'. Ahuti Prasad's full name is Adusumilli Janardhana VaraPrasad. But after his portrayal of villain in 'Ahuti', the name of his film became his surname.
