High Court stalls 'I' release The much awaited film in Shankar-Vikram combination, 'I' received a major blow just before the release. Going by the details the Madras High Court has issued interim orders to the makers to stop the release of the movie by three weeks.
The decision was taken by court following an application filed by Picturehouse Media Ltd over unpaid dues by the film's producer Aascar Ravichandran. As per reports Ascar supposed to pay 19 crores to the petitioner but failed to clear the dues and violated the agreement. Court has given time till January 30th for Aascar Ravichandran reply the notice.
Meanwhile some reports saying that an out of the court settlement will be made and the film release will goahead smoothly. 'I' is initially slated for the release on January 14 worldwide.
Vikram and Amy Jackson play the lead roles. The movie runs about 3 hours and the movie is given a censor certificate of U/A.Directed by Shankar, "I" features Upen Patel and Suresh Gopi in other roles. Keep watching this space for more updates about the release of this film.
