VB Rajendra Prasad passed away
Tollywood producer and actor Jagapathi Babu's father V. B. Rajendra Prasad passed away. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment for age-related illnesses at Isha Hospital in Hyderabad.
VB Rajendra prasad directed and produced many blockbusters under Jagapathi Pictures. Then industry hit film 'Dasara Bullodu' was directed and produced by Rajendra Prasad.
Other noted films of VB includes 'Bangaru Babu', 'Manchi Manushulu', 'Pichchimaraju', 'Bangaru Bommalu', 'Bharyabharthala Bandham'. He received Raghupati Venkaiah Naidu award Life Time Achievement in 2003 and KV Reddy Memorial Award in 2000. He has directed over 14 films, produced 16 films and introduced Jagapathi Babu with the film Simhaswapnam movie
As a producer he produced all time hits like 'Dasara Bullodu','Aradhana', 'Aathmabalam', 'Anthasthulu', 'Adhrushtavanthulu', 'Akkachellellu','Bharyabharthala Bandham', 'Killer' etc.
Rajendra Prasad's 'Antastulu' has won a national award in 1965. He was a recipient of Raghupathi Venkaiah award. Tollywood actors who were shocked to hear the news expressed their condolences to the family.
