Shankar's 'I' sets new record at BO Shankar's popularity knows no boundaries. The craze for his movies can give any Tollywood superstar a run for their money. As expected, his much awaited 'I' started off with a bang. In spite of opening up with mixed response, the film managed to rake in record collections.
The early prediction says that the movie has gotten stunning response all across the state. The early estimation of collection of "I" in AP/Telangana BO comes close to record Rs.7.5 crores, which will be a record.
In USA, the film collected $126K from 100 locations on Tuesday and doing good on the following day. Many are appreciating the hard work put together by Vikram, Shanker and I movie team but openly expressing their displeasure over the output of the project. Even film pundits are predicting that by the end of this week the film will lose many multiplexes screens.
This film might end up collecting close to 31 crores and the film has got bright chances to fare well from Monday as well, but it is too early to say that. The Vikram and Amy Jackson starrer has reportedly snatched over 100 cinema halls from "Gopala Gopala", which hit the screens on 10 January.
