Baahubali footage leaks an act of revenge Piracy is biggest worrisome menace for Tollywood. Bahaubali is the latest victim of Leakage. Entire team of Baahubali got shocked when they come to know that 12 minutes of raw unfinished footage of a key sequence in the film was in the public domain.
Former system administrator with Mukuta VFX Hyderabad leaked the raw footage and this came as a huge blow for makers who are investing more than 100 crores on production of the movie.
Cyber-crime police have managed to delete the video clippings from the internet without leaving any traces of them. The Central Crime Station (CCS) police on Saturday arrested one Varma, an employee of Makuta Visual Effects for allegedly leaking the footage. His company has fired him immediately after police nabbed and found him guilty in this leakage case.
Police interrogated Varma in their style and he revealed some stunning reasons that forced him to leak the movie. During the police interrogation, Varma told them that he intentionally leaked the video clippings of the movie to take revenge on his company for harassing him during this project work. Hence to take revenge on company and to damage the reputation of Makuta, he copied Bahubali war scene videos and uploaded it on net.
He accepted that he downloaded clips to his laptop and shared with his friends using Whatsapp. However he said that he has not uploaded them on internet. He suspects some of his friends, who shared the video clippings, might have uploaded it. Bahubali producers have taken this issue seriously and taking action on all people who shared it on web.
