Official: Lawrence to direct Nandamuri's hit film
Nandamuri Kalyan has finally scored hit with Patas and the movie provided much needed break for Kalyan Ram. Its known that Pataas Tamil remake rights were sold for Rs 63 lakhs to Mega Super Good films owned by RB Chowdary.
All as of late it's speculated that Chowdary's son Jeeva shall be making the function of khaki-hero within the remake. But finally it has fallen in other hero hands and he is none other than choreographer turned director Raghava Lawrence.
As per sources RB Chowdhary who owns the remake rights of the movie has roped in Raghava Lawrence to direct the movie in Tamil.Interestingly, Lawrence will also play the lead role in the Tamil remake.
Kalyan Ram's energetic cop role and racy narration were major assets of this film's success and we need to see how Lawrence will handle the role.Other side Lawrence recent directorial ''Ganga" has received fantastic collections at the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (AP/T) box offices in the first week and topped the business chart.
