Actress jumps into Hussain Sagar
Prominent TV actress Roopa has attempted suicide by jumping in to the Hussain Sagar Lake. She was immediately rescued by the lake police and sent for medical'treatment.It'is learnt that love affair is the reason behind her extreme step of committing suicide. Roopa's real name is Arjit Kaur and she acted in serial like Chandramukhi, Arundhathi, Antahpuram, Shikharam etc.
She is reportedly in a relationship with Keval Singh, a Punjabi youth. They were to enter the wedlock recently.However, Keval reportedly told her about the opposition from his parents. Dejected, Harjit Kaur decided to take her life.
Sagar Police who rescued her handed over to Bashirabad police and they have registered a case and are investigating. Rupa is currently residing at Suchitra Circle at Boinapalle.
