Day 2 Collections: Lion surprises Trade
Nandamuri Balakrishna Lion has sprung a surprise trade wise. The film which opened with lukewarm response has surprised the trade by collecting 5.5 crs on day one which is second biggest ever opening for the hero. The film performed well on second day too.After an impressive Day 1, 'Lion' has been largely study on Day 2 and collected a share of 2.08 crore taking a total toll to 7.65 crs.
The movie at multiplexes has not seen packed houses but the film is drawing huge masses at the B and C centers. Dialogues by Balakrishna have been getting thunderous applause and should this continue at these centers the producers will be safe. Many say that lack of a proper mass movie in the summer and Lion filling the void has led to this numbers.
