Andhra Pori involved in title troubles
Crazy Director of Tollywood, Puri Jagannadh's heir Akash Puri is debuting as a Hero with youthful entertainer Andhra Pori. This movie is produced by prestigious Prasad productions and directed by Raj Madiraju. Andhra Pori completed censor formalities and is gearing up for its release with a U/A certificate.
Meanwhile there seems a sudden controversy about the movie, particularly its title. Andhra settlers forum filed a petition in High court against the movie name stating it is hurting their sentiments.The petition also stated the title degrades women image.
Pori is a vernacular term for young lass in Telangana. 'AndhraPori' unit didn't react on the petition till now. The movie stars Ulka Gupta as leading lady. So, we have to wait and see for the latest updates regarding the movie release from the Andhra Pori unit.
