RGV Attack on Maggi Ban If you want to know about the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma and his mindset on certain things, the best place to do that would be to follow his Twitter account.'There are so many followers who actually look forward to his spoofy comments and witty remarks. Some of them even suggest Varma to comment on a celebrity or an issue.
Varma now opens about india's most debated topic i.e ban on Maggi. The most popular ready-to-eat noodles brand of India, the '2-Minutes' Maggi became a target of a raging controversy, after the Uttar Pradesh government's food safety department allegedly found high content of lead in the samples of Maggi collected by them a few days back. The food product got banned in several states.
RGV speaks about Maggi ban in his own style and here is what he said about the issue.
'After Maggi I am hoping that they won't attack poor Popcorn..can't imagine watching a movie without popcorn in hand
With all the Maggi talk going around I ate more Maggi'today'than ever in my entire life
Does anybody test Tirupathi laddus? Or any of the 100s of roadside hotels ? Mnc's are just soft targets...reminds me of KFC targeting days
The kind of cleanliness we hv nd maintain in our country it's a joke to target packaged contents no matter what is beyond permissible in it
Every food material will either have something excess or lesser and so I can't understand this sudden attack on poor Maggi
And if the concerned authorities woke up after so many years to check on Maggi, will they now start checking Cadbury, Amul and Colgate too?
Maggi should demand a check on our ultra clean fish markets and also our highly hygienic roadside eateries before discriminating it'
