Just Announced: Rudramadevi release date
Since the last few weeks the only name we get to hear is the magnum opus Baahubali. Amidst this hype, there is also another magnum opus which is oblivious. The film we are referring here is Anushka starrer Rudramadevi which was directed by Gunasekhar.
After several postponements 'Rudramadevi' is finally slated to release on 26th June. The movie will release on 26th June in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam simultaneously.
Gunasekhar initially want the movie to be released in February of 2015, however pushed it till May and now has finally decided to release on 26 June. It has been a long wait but if the film manages to get released on the said date, it would be good for it as there will be no biggies released in the gap.
The movie is based on 13th century queen Rudrama Devi hailing from Kakatiya dynasty.The music is composed by Ilaiyaraaja and the art direction was managed by Thotta Tharani.
Allu Arjun's cameo as Gona Gannareddy in the movie is going to be the biggest crowd puller for 'Rudramadevi' in terms of stardom. Gunasekhar was shrouded with tension as SS Rajamouli's Baahubali and Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu will soon be hitting the threaters soon.
