High court relief to 'Andhra Pori' The youthful entertainer of the season Andhra Pori has been creating lot of buzz .The main reason is that the film marks the debut of Akash Puri- the son of versatile filmmaker Puri Jagannadh . The film involved in a legal troubles recently due to the title.
'Andhra Settlers Forum' have recently approached the High Court alleging the title 'Andhra Pori' hurts their feelings. An objection was raised over its title, 'pori' which according to the petitioner is hurting the sentiments of Andhra people.
The case has come to the court's hearing today and as per reports the high court has dismissed the petition . The makers have heaved a sigh of relief with the court's judgement and the movie is all set to release across AP and Telangana tomorrow.
Akash is romancing Ulka Gupta who shot to fame with popular tele serial Jhansi Ki Rani. Film is directed by Raj Madhiraju of Rushi fame and is a remake of Marathi film Time Pass.
