Singer arrested for slapping a doctor
Few days back, singer Mika Singh made headlines for slapping an audience member on stage at a concert organised by the Delhi Ophthalmological Society on April 11. In retaliation, the audience member, Shrikant a doctor by profession, has filed an FIR against the hit maker.
Delhi Police had registered a case of causing hurt and wrongful restraint against Mika, after a video of the alleged incident had gone viral on the social media. Now after gap of two months police'today'arrested the singer and has been taken to the Inderpuri police station. However Mika Singh was granted bail hours after being arrested by the Delhi Police in connection with an incident.
The alleged incident was happened in last April at an event organized by Delhi Ophthalmological Society. While performing, the singer had warned one of the male doctors who kept on coming and dancing where the women were dancing. Annoyed with the doctor, Mika had called him onto the stage and slapped him .
Soon after the incident, the victim's colleagues created a ruckus at the venue but police immediately intervened and promised action against Mika following which an FIR was filed. Mika had then defended himself claiming the guy was drunk and causing disruption.
