Action hero Gopichand is a happy man these days. He tasted success after a long time with Loukyam and continued success with Jil.'Today'Gopi is celebrating his 35 th birthday.'Following the footsteps of popular actors like Rajinikanth, Krishnam Raju, Mohan Babu and Shatrughan Sinha, Gopichand has also made a mark with his villain roles and later turned as hero.

1. Before trying his luck at acting, Gopichand had studied engineering in Russia. He wasn't interested in acting.
2. He lost his elder brother T.Premchand when studying in Russia and he wasn't able to attend the funeral due to visa issues.'Prem chand tried to become a director and even worked under Mutyala Subbaiah. Exactly when Premchand started a film under his home banner, he breathed his last in an unforunate car accident. Gopichand also has a sister who is a dentist.
'3. His father, late T Krishna, was a Communist besides being a director and editor for many revolutionary films such as Neti Bharatam and Pratighatana.
4. Gopichand is a very close friend of our Baahubali star, Prabhas.
5. Gopichand' s wife Reshma is the niece of hero Srikanth. Gopichand tied the knot with actor Meka Srikanth's niece Reshma in May 2012 and recently' Reshma gave birth to a baby boy in a private hospital.
