Court notices to star hero for defaulting rent

Popular Kannada actor Yash is in trouble as the owner of his house has accused him and his mother of not paying rent for the last three years. He approached the court regarding this and a city session's court has issued notices to the actor and his mother to appear before it on June 20.'The actor, who rented a five bedroom house in Bangalore's Katriguppe since 2010, has defaulted Rs 21 lakh till now. The landlord also accused the actor and his mother of verbally abusing him when asked for rent.
The actor had rented Muniprasad's house at 5th Cross, 3rd Block, 3rd Phase, Banashankari, on'October 16, 2010. There was an agreement to pay a monthly rent of Rs 40,000 for 11 months.
The owners of the house have complained that the family of Yash has not paid rent for the last year and a half. About four years ago when Yash was a budding actor, his family moved into the house situated in Banashankari for a monthly rent of `40,000.'Yash made it big in Kannada films after moving into the house. He believed that the house had brought him luck and success and hence he was unwilling to vacate it.
'He also constructed a large house near Banashankari by spending huge money but he is staying in that lucky house.However, actor and his mother argued that the allegations were false and that they were ready to pay the rent.
