Venky is 'Bhaskar the Rascal'
Venkatesh has garnered the tag 'Victory' before his name and the interesting thing is that most of his filmography includes the remakes. Venky is usually inclined to do a remake rather than risking straight film/novel story.
Now, after passing his prime, Venky has been focusing more on experimental cinema and he has shifted his attention towards Mollywood. Given the fact that many Malayalam films rely more on concept and subject, Venky is striding in that direction.
He appeared in Malayalam super hit Drishyam and the film proved as good success in Tollywood. Now as per reports he is eying on another remake.This time he opted for Malayalam Superstar Mamootty's super duper hit film 'Bhaskar the Rascal'.
Suresh Babu has reportedly bought the movie's rights. Nayantara played opposite to Mamootty in original version and as per reports she may act again in the remake. It remains to be seen who will get a chance of directing this film.
