Megastar & his son booked for insulting National Flag
It seems bad times for Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan family will not get over soon. Days after a legal notice was sent to Aishwarya Rai, now a case has been registered against Amitabh Bachchan and his son' Bachchan.
A case has been filed against both father and son in the Ghaziabad court for insulting the Tri-colour.'Amitabh Bachan and Abhishek Bachan were seen wrapping themselves with our tricolor national flag during the recent' India-Pakistan world cup match.
One Chetan Dhiman filed a complaint before the judicial magistrate's court on Bachhan's for doing so.Complainant Chetan Dhiman has alleged that they were seen covering their bodies with the national flag in a manner insulting to the nation.He said that by such an act, the internationally acclaimed cine star and his son downgraded India's reputation.
He said the actors' act was covered under The Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971, and the Flag Code of India, 2002, and both should be summoned before the court to face trial .
These types of cases were very common for celebrities.Even star cricketers like Sachin and Dhoni had once been in controversies for using Tricolor in an appropriate manner.
