Popular TV actor passes away
TV actor Sanjit Bedi is no more. Bedi who is known for his role in TV serial Sanjivani passed away on Tuesday. Bedi was suffering from brain virus following which he was in coma for some time. He breathed his last yesterday at a private hospital in Mumbai.
Sanjit Bedi, known for playing doctor Omi in popular TV show 'Sanjivani' that was first aired on STAR Plus in 2004. Apart from Sanjivani, Sanjit played pivotal roles in shows like Jaane Kya Baat Huyi, Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasman, Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka and Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
Sanjit's cremation was held at'11am'today(June 24) at the Chandanwadi crematorium, Mumbai. He is survived by his wife. Condolences started puring in on Twitter where people remembered him for his roles on various TV shows.
Sanjit Bedi's death has come as a shock for his friends from the TV industry. Actors like Hiten Tejwani, Karnvir Bohra and Kamya Punjabi among others took to Twitter to express their grief over the death.
