Students attacked Kerintha team with eggs
Dil Raju's production venture Kerinta which was released on Friday, opened to positive response from all the centers.Kerinta film unit is conducting the success tour across state.
The film's director Saikiran Adivi, Dil Raju, Sumanth Ashwin, Sri Divya, Tejaswi Madivada, and others participating the tour. But the film unit faced bitter expierence in Srikakulam yesterday. According to reports students who alleged that a few scenes in the film hurt the sentiments of people in Srikakulam attacked on the film crew with eggs.
Reports say a group of people from ABVP outfit attacked Dil Raju and team by hurling the eggs. The character of Parvatheesam used in the film speaks in Srikakulam dialect. The students attacked film unit with eggs and throws them on cars of producer Dil Raju and hero Sumant Aswin alleging that they degraded the dialect of the region. Dil Raju apologized the angered mob.
"Kerintha" is a entertainer with all commercial elements to impress the youth audience. Besides direction, Saikiran Adivi has also penned script for the movie. Like "Happy Days", this movie explores the lives of a group of friends and their bond with each other.
