Filmfare awards: Best hero & Best film
62nd Filmfare Awards South 2015 was happened in Chennai Friday night. Stylish Star Allu Arjun won the Best Actor Award for his energetic performance in 'Race Gurram'. Shruthi Haasan walked away with Best Actress award for the same movie.
Allu Arjun beat his opponents Mohan Babu( Rowdy), Nagarjuna( Manam), Venkatesh( Drishyam) and Sharwanand( Run Raja Run). This is third best film fare actor award for Bunny.ged honours of 'Best Actor' for Race Gurram movie. He has earlier won the same trophy for Parugu in 2008 and Vedam in 2010.
On the other hand, Akkineni Multi starrer Manam won four awards under Best Film, Best Director, Best Music Director and Best Lyricist category. Manchu Lakshmi won best supporting actress award for her role in Chandamama Kathalau film. Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas won best debut actor award. The event was hosted by singer Chinmayi Sripada alongside her husband Rahul Ravindran.
The event was graced by host of celebrities and performances of Tapsee and Tamanna enthralled the viewers.
