Legendary singer Ramakrishna died Tollywood renowned playback singer Ramakrishna passed away on Wednesday night at his residence in Venkatagiri Colony, Jubilee Hills. He has been suffering from health issues since some time and breathed his last yesterday. The 68 yr old singer was hospitalized early last week due to severe illness.
Ramakrishna was born on August 20, 1947. Top singer P Susheela is the sister of Ramakrishna's mother. Ramakrishna survived with wife; son and daughter. His son hero Sai Kiran made his debut with Nuvve Kavali movie.
Ramakrishna begun his career with Lalitha Geethas in Akashvani's Yuvavani. He worked for all time classic films such as Muthyala Muggu, Andala Ramudu, Baktha Kannappa, Dana Veera Sura Karna, Tatha Manavadu and Alluri Seetharamaraju.
Ramakrishna is well known for his Telugu Veera Levara in Krishna's Alluri Seetharama Raju and Siva Siva Sankara in Krishnam Raju's Bhakta Kannappa.Ramakrishna has sung 5000 songs in various South Indian languages. He became a noteworthy personality for singing many devotional songs.
The funeral ceremony shall be held on Thursday at his residence . The entire film fraternity is mourning the demise of this legend but his timeless music shall stay with us forever.
