Petrol Bomb Hurled at Baahubali theatre
As we all know Baahubali mania is shaking the entire nation and in fact the entire world. Usually controversies flock behind such big ticket films. The film was involved in a new controversy.
Some unidentified persons hurled a petrol bomb outside a multiplex showing the film alleging that the film showed Dalits in poor light. Activists of a dalit outfit, hurled Petrol bomb at a theatre exhibiting Baahubali movie at Madurai in Tamil'Nadu.No'one was injured in the attack but the compound wall of the theatre was damaged.
Meanwhile some members of 'Puratchi Puligal' (Revolutionary Tigers) surrendered before police and the activists claimed that the film contained derogatory dialogues about Dalits. Police said that the outfit has been staging protests in the State for the last few days and added that they had hurled the bombs just to gain publicity for their outfit.
