Srimanthudu beats all except Baahubali
Mahesh Srimanthudu received positive response from overseas audience. The film breaks all other movie records except Bahaubali on Thursday.
Srimanthudu has collected $555k from Premiers and stood as all time second best after Bahubali."Baahubali - the Beginning" has grossed $1,392,050 from the premiere shows in 118 screens in the US and it is the no 1 highest grosser Indian movie in the country.
Soem trade experts predicted that "Srimanthudu" would beat the record of the Rajamouli directorial, but it has failed to do so. Meanwhile, Srimanthudu is likely to break the first day AP and Telangana areas shares record of all movies in AP and Telalgana except Bahaubali.
Mahesh's films have a good track record in the US. His past releases, including "Dookudu", "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" , Aagadu and ŕ Nenokkadine" have entered the $1 million club in the US box office. Now its just a cake walk for Srimanthudu to join in the club.
