Srimanthudu Day 1 shares: Beats AD
Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan starrer Srimanthudu has smashed the records of all blockbuster Tollywood openers, including "Attarintiki Daredi". "Srimanthudu" opened to a massive response with theatres witnessing unprecedented crowd in most centres.
The film has collected 12.85 crore in AP/T box office on the first day. It has beaten the record of "Attarintiki Daredi", which had raked in Rs 10.75 crore on its opening day.
The film has failed to beat the record of "Baahubali - the Beginning". The film has become the second biggest Tollywood opener of 2015, beating the record of S/o Sathyamurthy.
