BJP & Others warned superstar
Super Star Rajnikanth gets a strong warning from some of the hindu outfits and BJP. The reason is Rajni's green signal to Tipu Sultan movie. Recently a' leading Kannada producer said he planned to make a movie on Tipu Sultan and planning to rope in Rajinikanth for playing role of Muslim ruler.
Some hardline outfits from tamilnadu warned Rajinikanth against accepting Tipu Sultan movie offer. They say 18th Century ruler committed atrocities against Hindus. They have requested the actor to withdraw his decision as this affects Tamils' self-respect.
BJP leader L Ganesan said that Rajinikanth should not act in the movie. He felt' Tipu was an aggressor, who committed maximum atrocities against Hindus and says Rajinikanth will never take up a role to portray such a character.
Tipu who ruled Mysore is a controversial figure still for Hindus and Tamils. Rajnikanth is presently busy in shooting for his Tamil movie 'Kabali'
