Watch: Laya denies accident rumour, says she's fine
Laya, the yesteryear heroine with a beautiful smile, who was rumoured to be injured in a car accident in USA has rubbished the reports. Yesterday Social media was abuzz with rumours that Laya had met with an accident in the USA and admitted at the hospital.
Since the news broke out there were several anxious enquiries about her health condition. However, Laya herself released a video tape saying she is fine and that there was no accident. In a video on her Facebook page, she said the news about the accident is absolutely baseless.
She also requested the media to verify news before publishing anything. She also thanked her fans, well-wishers for their concern towards her."I am getting calls from relatives and fans to enquire about my health," she said and asked' the media to verify the news before publishing it. This put at rest the flurry of rumour-mongering on social media.
In 2006, Laya moved to Los Angeles after getting married to Dr. Sri Ganesh Gorty. She has two children- Sloka and Vanchan
