CLP to discuss Local Body Elections Hyderabad, Sept 21 (INN): Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will chair a Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting on Sunday.
The meeting is expected to focus on preparations for the upcoming local body elections. Key leaders, including Telangana Congress in-charge Deepa Das Munshi, Telangana PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, All India Congress observer Vishwanath, and other senior leaders, will attend the meeting.
According to Congress sources, the meeting will review the implementation of public welfare schemes across the state. Discussions will be held on strategies to strengthen the party at the booth level in order to secure victories in as many constituencies as possible in the local body elections. The party will also finalise plans to form new committees at the mandal level to strengthen the organisation. Strategies for ensuring the success of Congress candidates in the Gram Panchayat, Zilla Parishad, and Mandal Parishad elections will also be discussed.
