Amazing performance by Blind Students in NJ NATS Director Dr.Madhu Korrapati anchored the event and lauded the performance of young kids. TFAS President Mr.Anand Paluri thanked all the audience for their generosity and appreciated the efforts of NATS and TFAS volunteers. After receiving accolades for their performance in Philadelphia, Delaware and New York, the visually impaired kids enthralled the New Jersey audience with their amazing performance.
The unique dance performances included Bharathanatyam, Telugu movie songs, Folk Songs, Kuchipudi, Bhangra, Semi-classical, Devotional songs, Kollatam and Dance Ballets. The uniqueness of the performances can be attributed to the fact that these highly difficult varied forms of dances were performed exceptionally well by visually impaired kids on par with any professional dancers.
The audiences were spell bound with the kids performance and showered their appreciation with continuous claps throughout the event. May people were so moved with tears in their eyes for this touching performance of those visually impaired kids.
Mr.Mohan Krishna Mannava briefed the activities of NATS in NJ area and introduced NATS NJ chapter team members on to the stage during this occasion.
In spite of not being an entertainment event or a regular cultural program, but still the large hearted NJ people responded well to the event and generously donated over 12,000 dollars to those kids. All the proceeds of the event go to SRMAB School. The SRMAB kids thanked audience for their generosity.
