Chinese delegations call on KCR, sign two MoUs Hyderabad, Oct 16 (INN): Two MoUs have been signed between the visiting Chinese companies led by Sany Group and Telangana Government.
One MoU for establishing a Prefab concrete manufacturing factory. The MoU has been signed by Sany Group represented by Haijen Deng, Secretary of Sany International Housing and M. Dhana Kishore, Secretary Housing Department, Government of Telangana. Another MoU on implementing the Dry Port Solutions has been signed by Secretary Industries and Commerce Jayesh Ranjan and Wengen Liang, the Chairman of the port of Sany Heavy Industry.
A high powered delegation from China consisting of Chinese companies led by Sany Group of Companies had a joint meeting for cooperation on Telangana development with Government of Telangana this evening at Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad.
Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has attended the meeting as Chief Guest.
The Chief Minister, speaking on the occasion, conveyed his profused thanks to the visiting delegates. He also welcomed them for their preparedness in investing in Telangana. The Chief Minister also mentioned about the Industrial Policy and about various welfare measures taken by his Government for the benefit of the poor and also mentioned about construction of Two Bed Room houses for the poor. He recalled his visit to China and also the love and affection shown by the Chinese people wherever we have gone. He told them to make best use of Telangana for investments.

Dhana Kishore, Secretary Industries Jeyesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary MAUD M.G. Gopal, CMD GENCO D. PrabhakerRao, SingareniCollories CMD Sridhar, GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar, Principal Secretary Shalini Mishra, MD TSIIC Narsimha Reddy, Additional Principal Secretary to CM Smt. Shanthi Kumari, Commissioner of Police Mahender Reddy, Commissioner of Cyberabad Police C. V.Anand, Commissioner and Director MAUD B. Janardhan Reddy and others participated in the meeting.
The 45 member delegation consisted of investors, Infrastructure Corporation Heads, Heads of construction corporations and others having interest in the development activities in the state of Telangana. The delegation members included among others Chairman, President and Vice-President Sany Group Liang Wengen, Tang Xiuguo and DuanDawei respectively; Sany India Director and CEO Deepak Garg; Vice-President CCTEG Shenyang Engineering Company Zhang Keshu; Vice-President China Minsheng Investment Corporation Chen Guogang; Chairman China Coal Mine Construction Group Corporation Xhao Shibing; Vice-President Power Construction Corporation of China Zeng Xingliang; Chairman CHINT Group Company Nan; Vice-Chairman and Vice-President Golden Concord Holding Limited ShuHua and Tzou Sean respectively; Vice-President Lianyungang Port Holding Group Companies Li Chunhong; Vice-President State Power Investment Corporation Ma Lu and CEO Tebian Electric Apparatus Stock Company. Others include XueJian from Chinese Embassy, Siddhartha Anand and Priya Rawat from Invest India.
Jayesh Ranjan introduced the Chief Minister, Cabinet Ministers and Officers to the visiting delegates. Pradeep Chandra Special Chief Secretary welcoming the guests said that within a month after CM visited China, the delegation has come here indicating the keen interest of Chinese companies in Investing in Telangana State. A Short video presentation on the advantages of Telangana for investment was shownto the delegation. As a part of video 9 areas of opportunities for investment in Telangana namely Dry ports, Power Generation, Power distribution, Coal Mining, Social Housing, Road Development and Logistic parks in HMDA were explained to the delegates.
The Chief Minister, Ministers and the officials of Telangana Government and the delegates of the Chinese companies had dinner together after the meeting.
