Woman in distress rescued by RPF Hyderabad, Oct 17 (INN): A woman in distress was noticed on track at the end of Platform No. 1 by Railway Protection Force, Crime Prevention Detection Squad at Secunderabad Railway Station on Saturday.
The lady was also holding a baby of 2 years age. The duo were rescued by the RPF and enquired about her reasons for taking such a drastic decision.
On enquiry, she revealed her name as Vasari W/O Naga Kishore aged 24 years resident of Neredmet, Hyderabad. Further she also stated that she left her home three days back due to domestic problems, frequent torture of in-laws and roaming on the footpaths nearby station. Unable to withstand the hunger she decided to commit suicide, said the women. The woman with her 2 years female baby was brought to the RPF Post and counseled. Her husband and brother were also informed to attend the RPF Post and take her back.
