KCR to lay foundation for highway project
Hyderabad, Oct 20 (INN): Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will lay the foundation stone for National Highway project works worth Rs. 300 crore in Khammam district on October 23.
Union Minister for Surface Transport Nitin Gadkari, Telangana Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao and other leaders will also participate in the function. Foundation stone for Warangal-Yadadari highway would also be laid on the occasion. The Centre has sanctioned Rs. 2,000 crore for these works. Initially, the highway would be four-lane. These projects are likely to improve connectivity to Khammam district.
