Emotional Moment: CBN sprinkles holy water, soil over Amaravati from Helicopter The spirits are jubilant among all Andhraites and the historical event is just hours away from now. Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu has performed the ritual of mixing the holy soil and water collected from different places across telugu states.
The holy soil and water samples that have been brought from both the states for the Amaravati foundation stone laying ceremony. The water and soil has been sprinkled by the Chief Minister all over Amaravati from the Helicopter.
Soil and water collected from 16,000 villages, 4,000 wards and other places in the state as well as the country. Similarly, 'Samprokshana' (cleansing) process was conducted in all the religious places in the region
Note from the CM reads as follows:
'As part of our #ManaNeeruManaMatti campaign, I had the honour of taking the holy water and sacred soil (collected from across the state) and mixing it with the soil of Amaravati.
This develops an emotional connect and bond of the people of our state with Amaravati. It is a very proud moment for me to be leading this campaign,' Naidu said adding Amaravati would emerge as the best among the top 10 cities in the world. CBN also prayed to almighty to bless AP and its people with happiness and prosperity''
