Development confined only to Gajwel, Sircilla: Gutha Hyderabad, Oct 21 (INN): Congress senior leader and Lok Sabha MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy has alleged that only two Assembly segments - Gajwel and Sircilla, were witnessing development while remaining constituencies have been completely ignored by the TRS Government.
While Gajwel is represented by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, his son and Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao represents Sircilla constituency in Assembly.
Speaking to media persons on Wednesday, Gutha said that the Chief Minister should ensure equal development of all constituencies in Telangana State. However, he said KCR was focused on developing only two constituencies. He also criticised State Government for spending nearly Rs. 100 crore for Bathukamma festival, especially at a time when farmers are committing suicide due to loss of crop. He said that KCR and his family members were busy celebrating the festivals while leaving the distressed farmers to their fate.
He also alleged that KCR and his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N. Chandrababu Naidu had a secret pact during the recent meeting. He demanded that the discussion between the two Chief Ministers be made public.
