Gadkari to lay foundation for Yadgiri-Warangal section laning Hyderabad, Oct 21 (INN): The National Highways Authority of India, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, is taking up '4-laning of Yadgiri-Warangal Section of NH-202 (New No.NH-163) (Km.54/000 to Km.150/000) in Telangana', with a cost of Rs.1905 Cr, on EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Contract) mode. This will be completed in 30 months.
The foundation stone for the project will be laid by Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari on 23rd October.
The scope of work involves four laning of 99.10 km connecting Yadgiri & Warangal. The Project also includes 4 Bypasses (for Vangapalli, Aler, Janagaon & Warangal), 2 ROBs, 4 Vehicular Under passes, 1 Overpass, 3 Pedestrian Underpasses, 3 Major Bridges & 25 Minor Bridges.
On account of this Project, the total four-lane connectivity will be established between Hyderabad & Warangal, which promotes the industrial activities around Warangal and also saves fuel, time, apart from improving the safety and comfort.
