KCR asks Rajnath Singh to increase civil servants Hyderabad, Oct 28 (INN): Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao called on Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Wednesday and urged him to increase the number of civil servants for the Telangana State.
On the third day of his visit to the national capital, KCR, accompanied with TRS MPs Vinod Kumar and Jithender Reddy and DGP Anurag Sharma, briefed the Union Minister about the law and order situation in the State. He also urged Rajnath Singh to resolve the issue of bifurcation of High Court at the earliest.
The Chief Minister asked Rajnath Singh to expedite the process for release of Central funds for different projects before the next session of Parliament.
Speaking to media persons later, Vinod Kumar informed that the Union Home Minister has been urged to implement the promises made with the Telangana at the time of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh in the AP Reorganisation Act. He said that the Centre has been urged to hasten the process of bifurcation of employees in organisations under Schedule 9 and 10. He said that the Home Minister to resolve all the issues raised by KCR at the earliest.
