Jupally visits Balanagar Industrial Area


 
Hyderabad, Oct 31 (INN): Telangana Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Saturday visited the Balanagar Industrial Estate and participated in the Industry Interactive Session on Micro and Small Enterprises Cluster Development organized by Geetha Nagar, Navjeevan Nagar, Micro Industrial Association, Balanagar Industrial Area.

Earlier, the minister visited the Elico Industries which is a electronic manufacturing Unit, which promotes Mobile soil testing vans and other electronic equipment which is supplied to the Government of Telangana as well as the Government of India. He was impressed with the range of products that the company was making and wished that they would become a major player in the make in Telangana brand.

At the interactive session which was conducted at the MSME Development Institute, Balanagar in which the local MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao, Chandra Sekhar, Director, MSME, Govt of India, S.V.Raghu, Member Pollution control board, Sudhir Reddy, Gopal Rao of TIF (Telangana industrialists Federation) and other participated in the Meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Chandrasekhar, who has taken charge recently , informed that the MSME conducts Training programs, Awareness Programs, Development of Micro an Small Industries, Promotional Activities, and has catered to 10,000 participants in the year 2014-15, in around 40-50 clusters, He said that MSME grants up to Rs. 1.5 lakh for participation in international trade fairs also. And also gives grants up to Rs. 25 crores for cluster development. Through their cluster development program, They are at present reviewing the Fan Cluster / Lidcap etc which are pending, He assured the minister that MSME is ready to extend whatever support that is necessary for development. He also assured that all pending projects will be followed up .

The Geethanagar Navjeen Micro Industrial Association welcomed the Minister and said that he is the first Industries Minister in the last 25-30years to visit the Balanagar Industrial estate.

The Minister said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has given a boon to the Industrialists by giving continuous power, He said if man is determined he can achieve what he wants. He said that the government will address all the problems of the SME's and will be magnanimous in providing training, giving Incentives, creating employment, subisidies etc.,

He said that the government while attracting new industries is also taking steps to protect the existing factories in the state. He said that most of the small scale and micro units were providing more employment with less capital than the large industries. He assured that the land purchased by the Society the Government will provide all infrastructure development and other related issues. He informed that he will take the file to the Chief Minister.

Regarding the renewal of the lease of the 40 plus acres land in Balanagar, he said that he would pursue all the relevant files and instructed the General Manager, Balanagar to bring all relevant files on Monday itself. And also call for a meeting with the concerned Secretaries and department officials.

The minister wished that all the sick units should be brought to life again, sustain and expand in the coming years.
