KCR is playing casino politics: Jaipal Reddy Hyderabad, Nov 3 (INN): Former Union Minister and Congress senior leader S. Jaipal Reddy has accused Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao of turning politics into gambling and he has been playing 'Casino Politics'.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, Jaipal Reddy said that the by-elections for Warangal Lok Sabha seat would prove to be a warning for the ruling TRS. He said that the TRS Government has completely failed to fulfill any of the promises that he made with the people during elections. Major promises like waiver of crop loans up to Rs. 1 lakh and 12% reservation for Muslims and STs remained unimplemented. He said KCR got habitual of cheating the people.
Jaipal Reddy asked KCR to explain as to who is responsible for the Warangal by-elections. He accused him of imposing by-elections on the people just to prove his political supremacy. He said while promising to make a Dalit CM, KCR has sacked a Dalit Deputy CM in a humiliating manner. He alleged that KCR has been treating Deputy CMs as his slaves.
The Congress leader said that the victory of Sircilla Rajaiah in Warangal by-elections would be a gift to AICC President Sonia Gandhi as she has turned the 60- year-old dream of Telangana into a reality.
