Out:Forbes List of The World's Most Powerful People
Russian President Vladimir Putin has won the title of the world's most powerful people by Forbes. The financial magazine has announced its 7th Annual List of most powerful people across world.
Russian president Vladimir Putin has been voted the most powerful person in the world for the third time in a row and he was followed by' German Chancellor Angela Merkel and US President Barack Obama. Indian president Narendra Modi who placed in 15 th position last year now gets into top ten list. Narendra Modi moved from #15 to 9th spot this year.
Indian richest person and' Industrialist Mukesh Ambani is the other Indian to feature in the list. Ambani was placed at 36 th position. U.S. President Barack Obama fell one spot on this year's list to #3. It is the first time a sitting US President has not made one of the top 2 spots. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Lakshmi Mittal are other Indians in the list.
A total of 73-person strong list was announced this year by forbes and factors such as the amount of money the individual controls, the number of people they impact taken into account.
