BJP, TDP legislators complain of protocol violation
Hyderabad, Nov 6 (INN): Legislators of TDP and BJP of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Friday met Telangana Chief Secretary Dr. Rajiv Sharma complaining of violation of protocol by State ministers.
The legislators, including Maganti Gopinath, G. Saianna and Prakash Goud of TDP and Chintala Ramchander Reddy and Ramchandra Rao of BJP, complained that the protocol was not being followed during the conduct of official functions in the city. Speaking to media persons later, they said several ministers, especially Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, has been violating the protocol by not inviting the concerned legislators in official functions. They said government functions were being conducted like TRS party events.
They said although Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy has been appointed as Hyderabad District Incharge Minister, but Talasani has been exercising all the powers.
