Bihar Election Results : Shock to Modi; Nitish 3 Again
2@QdsxMuch awaited Bihar election results were out and it was a big shock to BJP.The 'Grand Alliance' led by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is set to record a big victory in Bihar. It is now leading in 157 seats, with the BJP's alliance trailing badly at 77.
This defeat will hurt BJP big time as it came after 30+ public meetings by the Prime Minister himself. Nitish Kumar's chief ally Lalu Yadav has scripted a spectacular comeback after multiple setbacks in the last few elections. Lalu's Part RJD is leading in 74 seats and is set to be the single largest party in the Bihar assembly.
Soon after the counting began, NDA performed better than JDU+ giving an impression Modi magic has worked yet again. After few hours, JDU+ surprised everyone by gaining a huge. A big win for JDU+ in the offing and Nitish is going to be the Chief Minister yet again. By winning Bihar for the third time, Nitish has proved that a popular and performing CM can win state elections and buck the national trend.
The coalition is already leading in 155 seats and may even end up getting 180-200 seats finally.
