Nayani assures best facilities for welfare hostels
Hyderabad, Nov 10 (INN): Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy has assured that the Telangana Government would provide best facilities in the welfare hostels.
Nayani, along with Tribal Welfare Minister Ajmeera Chandulal, visited the Tribal Girls Hostel at Adikmet on Tuesday and inspected the facilities. He also interacted with the students on the facilities being provided to them. Some students asked the minister to restore the old system of giving scholarship instead of supplying fine rice.
Addressing the students later, the minister assured to take up the demand for restoration of scholarships with Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. He also assured that the request for providing accommodation in welfare hostels to students coming to city to appear in competitive examinations would be considered.
The Home Minister directed Tribal Welfare Commissioner Lakshman to take steps for establishment of library and installation of cable TV in the hostel premises. He said he would make frequent visits to the welfare hostels to inspect the facilities.
