Pawan Kalyan discuss GHMC polls with Naidu Vijayawada, Nov 12 (INN): Cine actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu here on Thursday.
Accompanied with Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas, Pawan went to Vijayawada from Hyderabad, in a special helicopter. Among other issues, Naidu and Pawan Kalyan have reportedly discussed the forthcoming elections to Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). They also had discussions on land acquisition for Amaravati, the new capital of AP and Special Category Status to the state.
During the three-hour meeting, Pawan Kalyan had reportedly informed Naidu that his Jana Sena Party would be contesting the next GHMC elections. However, speaking to media persons later, Pawan Kalyan described it as an informal meeting and said he met Naidu to congratulate him on the foundation stone laying ceremony of Amaravati as he could not attend the function.
