Nayani threatens to book criminal cases against land grabbers
Hyderabad, Nov 14 (INN): Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy has warned that criminal cases would be registered against those who encroach upon government lands.
The Home Minister issued this warning after laying foundation stone for multi-purpose sports complex and indoor stadium on EWS Ground in Adikmet of Musheerabad Assembly constituency on Saturday. The sports complex was being constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.5 crore.
Nayani advised the people to unitedly fight against the land grabbers and foil their attempts to encroach upon government lands. He said that the local people should take the responsibility of protecting government lands. He also advised people to participate in sports and other activities to keep their mind and body healthy.
The minister advised the State Government to dedicate one hour for sports in all the schools.
GHMC Commissioner and Special Officer Dr. Janardhan Reddy and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
