Hyderabad: Girl Stuck In School Lift, Dies
A three' year old girl died accidentally in a school in Hyderabad after she got stuck in the lift. According to reports, Zaina Jaffrey' the nursery student accidentally got stuck in the elevator of her school, Star Kids Premium School in Malakpet situated in Dilsukh Nagar area.She' died when her head got stuck in the school elevator.
The girl was inside the lift with other students and school staff when she accidentally got stuck between the doors, and suffered serious injuries. As the students were jostling for space and pulling each other's bags, the victim's' hand got stuck in the grilled doors of the elevator.
After someone pressed the button of third floor the elevator started moving and Zaina's hand and head were pressed between the elevator and the first floor concrete roof. She suffered injuries and died on the way to hospital.
Meanwhile tension prevailed at the school as the victim's parents and family members staged a protest, demanding action against the school management for their negligence. Police' said they will take appropriate action against the school administration if any negligence is found on their part.
Police registered a case of negligence against the school management under section 304-a of the IPC. The girl child Zaina Jaffrey is the daughter of Hussain and Tahseen Fatima from Saidabad. Hussain is working in the middle east.
