Chittoor Mayor Murder: Dogs Suspects Katari Mohan Nephew
Chittoor Mayor Katari Anuradha was killed and her husband, Katari Mohan, seriously injured in an attack by three persons at the Mayor's office in Chittoor on Tuesday noon and the brutal murder has created sensation in telugu states. Now Police sprang into action to nab culprits.
Officials said that the prime suspect is Katari Mohan's nephew K Chandrasekhar. With police dogs heading towards Chintoo's house when the police pressed them into action all fingers are now pointing at the Chandrashekar.
The police dogs started from the murder spot and within minutes they were headed straight to the house of Chandrasekhar alias Chintoo and stopped there. This has strengthened the doubt on Chintoo's involvement in the murder of Anuradha and her husband. Chandrasekhar is son of Mohan's elder sister and he was a MTech 'graduate.
As per reports Chandrashekar had been at loggerheads with the couple over awarding water supply tanker contracts and municipal civil works to his group. Chintoo is also a co-accused along with Mohan in a murder attempt on the ex-MLA of Chittoor CK Babu.
With police dogs clearly pointing to the accused, now his role is almost confirmed. Meanwhile Mohan's supporters ransacked Chintoo's office and burnt the furniture.
