Bumper Offer: 23.55% Salary Hike For Central Govt Employees Central government employees set to receive bumper offer. They are going to witness huge jump in their montly salaries. 7th Pay Panel recommends 23.55% hike for the central government employees.
The Pay Commission headed by Justice A K Mathur has suggested a 15 percent increase over the basic salary plus 25 per cent increase in allowances.They have submitted report to union finance minister Arun Jaitley.
It will benefit 47 lakh serving employees of the central government and 52 lakh pensioners. The seventh pay commission has also' suggested a minimum salary of Rs 18,000 per month and maximum of Rs 2.25 lakh a month .With the fresh recommendations the total increase will be 22-23 percent of the gross salary (basic plus DA plus allowances).
The recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission are scheduled to take effect from'January 1, 2016.The central government constitutes the pay commission to revise the pay scale for every 10 years. The 6th Pay Commission was implemented with effect from'January 1, 2006.
