TRS not joining NDA, claims Dattatraya
Hyderabad, Nov 19 (INN): Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatraya on Thursday dismissed reports that appeared in a section of media stating that Telangana Rashtra Samithi might join the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance at the Centre.
Dattatraya told INN that the reports were completely baseless and based on mere speculation. He said neither Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao nor any other TRS leader had approached the BJP with the proposal to join the NDA. He alleged that the Congress leaders were spreading false propaganda in view of Warangal by-elections to divert voters' attention.
However, Dattaraya said that the TRS Government could maintain friendly relations with the Centre in the interest of the Telangana State.
