Girl Uses Body Spray To Freshen Breath, Died
A 19-year-old woman from Vastare village of Chikkamagaluru taluk lost her life after spraying body spray into her mouth. The girl named Sudha, who had dressed up and applied make-up in preparation to go out on November 13, had sprayed body spray to her clothes.Thinking that the body spray give fresh breath she had pumped some spray into her mouth. When the spray reached her stomach Sudha suffered severe stomach pain.
Soon after, Sudha started to complain of uneasiness in her tummy and screamed in pain.Her parents rushed her to a district hospital and later she was shifted to another hospital in Chikkamagaluru.. As she did not respond she was then taken to Father Muller Hospital in the city.
The body spray was so lethal that efforts made by the doctors to revive her failed and Sudha breathed her last on November 18.A case of unnatural death stands since registered in Aldur police station in Chikkamagaluru district.'Her father V.T. Dayanand narrated the incident to the Aldur police, following which a case has been registered.
